About the author
Kelly Jenkins is a licensed certified professional midwife serving women in Virginia through her practice, Blue Ridge Birth. Pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood have been a calling in her life from an early age. She is married to Dave, is the mom of three terrific girls, and is “LeiLei” to three amazing grandbabies: Golder, Gus, and Virginia. All were born at home.
About the Illustrator
Dorothy Lanahan has never outgrown her love for children’s literature and art, and is thrilled to have been able to work on this book with her midwife, Kelly. She spends her time attempting to grow something other than weeds, impulsively acquiring small animals, and being a model mother to her five perfectly well behaved children. She dreams of doing all the crafty things but lacks time and funding. Plus her children keep stealing her pencils.
